Defensive frailties showed in this FA Cup replay with only 9 minutes on the clock Ubong Umotong left the Fords defence for dead and smashed his past Roger Leeson to give Racing Club a lead they would never lose.
Chris Trill had a chance to level the score in the 12th minute only to hang on to the ball for too long giving the Racing Club Defence the chance to steal the ball back, Duncan Harris headed just wide on twenty minutes from a Jamie Jollands cross.
Roger Leeson made two or three good saves and Andy Bennett shot just wide before the half time whistle.
The second half started worse than the first when a goalmouth scramble ended up with Nigel Haydon poking the ball into the Fords net.
Chris Trill managed to pull Fords back into the match but within a minute of the re-start Haydon scrambled another goal after a game of ping pong in the area.
Then in the final minute Ian Waldock brought down Racing Club forward and for the third time in the two matches the penalty was awarded, Ashley Balscares made no mistake with the spot kick and Fords were out of the cup.
