Fozzy had to make no fewer than five changes to the previous weeks side that lost out to Raunds in the FA Cup, missing were Tommy Waldock, (Holiday) Ady Pestell, (Wedding) Liam Hynes (Dead Leg) and Robbie Steele and Paul Currier work commitments.

United started well coming close to opening the scoring on numerous occasions but again failed to find the back of the net, Sileby's James Algar was inspirational in the Sileby goal as he pulled of three or four quality saves, the best of these was from a Jamie Jollands free kick, United were eventually rewarded when Wayne Richardson's free kick bounced in the area and Richard Panell put the ball in the net from close range.

This was a deserved lead going into half time for United as they had dominated the first half so much so that Andy Millard in the United goal had hardly touched the ball, the same could not be said for Algar as he kept United at bay with some excellent saves deny them a bigger lead.

The second half saw Sileby start to put United under a bit of pressure and in the 55th minute ex United player Damon Black found himself unmarked on the back post for a simple equaliser, both teams had chances to go on and win this fixture but again it was United who were ruing missed early chances and this was two points lost.

Jamie Jollands filled in at left back for United which allowed Joel Young to make his first start for the first team and again he proved that he will be more than capable at this level, also making first team debuts were Sam Bourne and Lawson Cann.

Sileby fielded no fewer than four United players from last season with Barry Mead, Timmy Clack, Matty Cox, and Damon Black all turning out for Sileby this season.

The game against Huntingdon next week should see the return of Waldock, Steele, Pestell and Currier although Liam Hynes looks like he will miss the next few games struggling with the dead leg he sustained against Raunds.
