Ford Sports Daventry 1 v 2 Northampton Sileby Rangers

A disappointing night for the team as we went out of the KO Cup to Division One side Sileby Rangers.

Sileby went ahead just before half time when they exploited space down the left and Lewis Haycock made no mistake with the finish.

Paul Currier soon levelled after the break after some good work from Tommy Waldock saw him unselfishly square the ball to give Currier an easy tap in, this game looked to be going into extra time until Bobby Dairn found the same space down the left as Hyacock in the first half and made no mistake to again give the visitors the lead, with only seconds to left in the game Fords had no way of getting back into this game.
