Another quick fire start from the Motormen as they pushed Raunds back time and again. Paul Currier went through one on one with the keeper and fired wide early on.
Minutes later Reuben Max Grant blasted his shot over the bar from six yards out. Currier again found himself through on the keeper, only for the keeper to deny him from close in. Not taking their chances was proving to be a thorn in the side, but they continued to make chances without an end product.
Defensively Ford were solid again and Robbie Steele was an enormous figure as he and Duncan Harris quashed any Raunds attack. The first half of this game was a very one sided affair and at the half time whistle Ford could have been 4-0 to the good.
The second half was a similar story as Simeon Nembhard missed from close range and Sammy Haynes saw his goal bound header well saved by the Raunds Keeper.
As we all know, chances missed have a habit of biting you on the arse, and yes you guessed it! 10 minutes from time we conceded the killer blow, great performance sadly missed chances denied us three points.
