Within five minutes of the start Fords were two nil down with Adam Taylor and Callum Ridgway scoring two goals within the space of two minutes for the second time in four days.

Again Fords rallied and Chris Trill managed to pull one back on 28 minutes, Taylor restored the two goal advantage on 40 minutes and it stayed at this score line until half time.

The second half saw Taylor complete his and the leagues first hat-trick of the season on 56 minutes, again Fords bounced back when Tim Clack reduced the deficit with a well taken penalty.

Ten minutes after that Jonathan Crockett reduced the gap to one goal only for Raunds to secure victory in the dying seconds of injury time through Ian Symington.
