After the fireworks of three weeks ago at the Hollow people may have thought this could be the re-match, it may have a 0-0 scoreline but this match was definitely not a dull affair.

Fords had the better of the early exchanges going close on a couple of occasions, around the halfway mark I the first half Paul Curriers shot was well saved and then from the corner Johnathan Crockett saw his headed effort cleared off the line, Matty Cox then crossed the ball across the face of goal and three Fords players missed the ball as it flew agonisingly across the front of an empty net, Chris Trill saw his drive saved after being put through by Johnathan Crockett then Frank Maher saw his effort go over the crossbar.

Richard Crockett suffered a reoccurrence of an ankle injury and was replaced by Ben Collins at halftime, Fords continued to push back Potton and Paul Currier went through on his own and saw his shot come back of the post, Frank Maher in the heart of defence showed again that he is more than capable in that position and as he had three weeks ago put in another top notch performance against one of the best strikers in the lead.
