Ford Sports travelled to Olney in the K/O Cup on the back end of a heavy defeat to Yaxley.
Olney started the brighter as they managed to bring out the best in Tolli Stratulatus when he saved low to his left, Fords then broke down the right and Frank Maher's cross found Paul Currier who controlled well and smashed the ball underneath the advancing keeper.
Then came the calamity as all the good work was undone when Stratlatus charged out of his goal to clear the ball and hit Rich Crockett, of all the places it fell to Olney's No 10 and he squared the match up.
Five minutes later Currier again extended Fords lead with an individual effort.
The second half saw Ford’s pile on the pressure as first Sigitas Kezmakas made it 3-1 and Returnee Matty Cox scored Fords fourth to put this game well out of reach.
Olney had their chances but these came about through sloppy play from Ford’s, all in all a better performance but some work is still needed at the back.
