Fords started the game brightly with Tom Waldock and Paul Currier going close early on, then as seems to be the norm we were two nil down before half time.
At two nil Ford through caution to the wind and within 15 minutes of the restart were back in the game when Liam Hynes drove into the box and squared for Ian Waldock to smash the ball home from close range.
Ford continued to pile the pressure on as again Currie and Waldock saw chances well saved , the game went into extra time and the constant pressure Fords were piling on eventually told as Paul Currier was brought down and the referee awarded a penalty, Timmy Clack stepped up and screwed his spot kick wide.
This game had replay writ all over it, Until with one minute to go Feltham broke down the right and Barry Mead made an excellent challenge to send the ball out for a throw, disbelieve followed as the referee blew his whistle and pointed to the spot.
Nobody in the ground could believe this decision it was clear that Meady had taken the ball, Feltham’s captain stepped up to the plate and made no mistake to send Feltham into the next round.
MOM : Liam Hynes
